Give the matches at least 10mins each, and have a dream match to head the card. TNAs "Wrestlemania" or whatever you want to call it, only special matches, and it must be 4 hours with 8 matches or less on the card. Have this PPV at least 6 weeks out of BFG, use this to advance storylines and set up big matches. Promote this to showcase the X-division and advance storylines, cut Victory Road as the name and the PPVs themself have been below averageĪll Hardcore Matches, with a Steel Cage match to top the card
PRO WRESTLING PPV NAMES FULL
King of the Mountain Matches for the X and Heavyweight Divisions along with Ladder Matches for the Tag Belts and Full Metal Mayhem for a heated feud.
IMO, TNA should build this up as their "main" PPV of the year. I know some people will say "only one PPV in 3 months?" But use this time to build up another major card for Slammiversary. Perfect PPV to counter Wrestlemania, bring back the Six Sides of Steel Use this as a PPV to give a wrestler in each division a #1 title shot.Ĭut out Destination X from this month, and instead focus on a 2month build to Lockdown. Well Genesis pretty muchs means "the beginning" so no need to move it! Have co-main events that are a Submission Match and a I Quit match.Īnother nice little breather PPV without gimmicks building up to Lockdown. TNA has shown in the past that they can deliver with this match.Īnother gimmickless but meaningful lead up to the biggest event of the year. Have an outdoor PPV at the beach in a Royal Rumble like match headlining the card.Ī PPV headlined with an Iron Man Match could be interesting. Bring back the six sided ring for one night perhaps? How about a Heavyweights vs X Division PPV? This would bring up the X-Division's credibility so much by making both divisions equal!Ī nice gimmickless PPV heading into the big Slammiversary PPV.Ĭhange nothing, KOTM match is good. TNA should try next year and really make this an all X PPV. but I don't think the problem is in the name and gimmick but the buildup. This PPV always seems to be mediocre every year.
Keep the KOTR-type tournament, it's great. I liked this year that they made Against All Odds be almost a tournament exclusive PPV. IMO, putting Lockdown in January makes for a better buildup as TNA should focus on 3 "big" PPVs even distributed in the year. November - April is too long of a gap between big PPV's.
